...So the marching band season has just ended, and while I am glad to finally have my life back, I can't help but be really excited for drumline, which starts in December. This year we are doing modern-day gladiators as our theme. Our outdoor show, Carmen, didn't do so well place-wise. We placed 11th out of 13. However, we did have a score of 81.something, which wasn't that far away from the next three places above us, which were mere tenths away. I had the cleanest show I have ever played and it was really fun. I am going to be playing a set of really nice vibes, (vibraphone)  which I have named Henrietta after the song by the Fratellis beca

Mr. ford is leaving. this makes me sad. he is the absolute best band teacher i have ever had. he brought most of us further in our musical careers than we had ever hoped. he always found some way to make us laugh during the grueling weeks of band camp. we will see him one last time at the championships which seems like eternities away. we will all miss him very much.

i am soooo bored. recently i have had nothing to do and cant think of anything to do except try to think of things to do. my drawings recently have all been rather suckish and they're all only half finished. i havent started any new books in the past month. in general, my life is going nowhere in particular right now. hopefully when the skool year starts i will get up off my lazy butt and do something, but for now, im absolutely dissatisfied with myself. i wish i wuznt so useless!!!
